My goal was never to make a billion dollars. It's just that my family didn't have lots of money when I was growing up. The world was a big place before the internet (the long long long time ago when I was growing up). But something in me always kept my eyes open for possible ways to make a buck. And in 9th grade, I overhead some kids in math class complaining and my first money-making endeavor was born. The cookie business without a name.

I'm not selling cookies these days. But it did teach me to keep my eyes and ears open. Ideas for a business can come at the most unexpected times from unexpected places.
